Design and Technology is essentially about providing opportunities for students to develop their capability, through combining their design and making skills with knowledge and understanding in order to create quality products.
Here in Penglais we aim to do this by providing units of work that are both interesting and relevant to our pupils and we constantly review the curriculum taking on board the views of our stake holders.
We hope that pupils will actively question their choices and decisions as design and technology provides excellent opportunities for them to apply value judgements of an aesthetic, economic, moral, social, and technical nature throughout their work.
